How to get your read-only keys
- Open Binance → Account → API Management (open ↗).
- Tap Create API → choose System generated → name it "Nexval" → finish 2FA.
- On permissions, keep only “Enable Reading” on — leave Spot/Futures/Withdrawals off.
- Copy the API Key and Secret Key (secret shows once) and paste below.
Read-only keys can't trade or withdraw. Stored locally on your machine so Nexval can refresh balances.

- For permissions, choose Read only (List & show accounts — no transfers).
- Copy the token and paste it below.

- Paste it below. Nexval uses Claude Haiku to categorise merchants it doesn't recognise.
- Each merchant is sent once then cached & learned — typically a few cents for your whole history.

How to get your key & secret
- Open Trading 212 → Menu → Settings → API (guide ↗). Works on Invest / Stocks ISA accounts.
- Tap New API key, name it "Nexval".
- Under Permissions, turn ON: Account data, Portfolio, Metadata, and the three History toggles (Orders, Transactions, Dividends).
- Keep OFF (safety): Orders – Execute and Pies – Write — these can place/modify trades. Nexval never needs them.
- IP access: Unrestricted is fine for your local setup.
- Tap Generate key. Copy both the API Key and API Secret (shown once) and paste below.
Nexval only reads your portfolio value & cash. Key & secret are stored locally on your machine. Trading 212 rate-limits this endpoint (1 req / 5s), so refresh sparingly.

How it works
- Pick your country, then tap Find banks.
- Choose your bank (e.g. Revolut) from the list.
- You're sent to the bank's own secure login — Nexval never sees your password.
- Approve read-only access; you're brought back and balances import automatically.
Powered by Enable Banking (a licensed Open Banking provider). Currently in Sandbox — test with Nordea (FI) or Mock ASPSP. Real Revolut needs production access.
Banks usually return up to ~90 days; some allow more. Nexval sets your opening balance as of this date so the account reconciles exactly.
Read-only — Nexval only pulls balances & statements. Sign-in happens on your bank's site.
